I am Shahbaz, I was born in Peshawar (Pakistan) where I did my initial schooling (GCE O & A Levels) and then went to the U.K. for a B.Eng. in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (University of Leeds - Honours Class I). I also studied for a masters degree in Finland (majoring in space science and technology) but things did not work out so I had to change plans.

Professionally, I have 5 years of diverse work experience in various industries like telematics, international development, power distribution, higher education, electronics, software/tech and food delivery. I consider myself as a jack of all trades. 

Apart from engineering, I also like history, politics, economics, business, international relations, psychology, geography and sociology. I like to stay updated on the latest developments around the world.

Personally, I also have exposure to other areas like real-estate/construction, agriculture, medicine/healthcare, automotive, aerospace, solar PV, politics and security.

In my spare time, I like to think about investments, entrepreneurship, watch movies, read, eat good food, listen to music and play with my dog (Max). I also like to do maintenance work at home and in my car.

I have lived in three different countries (Pakistan, U.K., Finland) and five cities (Peshawar, Islamabad, Lahore, Leeds, Espoo/Helsinki). I speak three languages (English, Urdu, Pashto).
